Beautiful and stunning work here. There is something truly inviting about this album. Sonically, it is dark, but always carried along by a certain lightness—a certain draw. It really is good. JDMP

Weirdly enough it reminds me of the serene ambient output of the band Emeralds, though noticeably starker in tone. The result is a strangely peaceful (dare I say familiar) feeling of quiet dread and homely nihilism. Deathbed Tapes may have harsher and superficially extreme output, but I'd be willing to bet few other releases are as atmospheric as this one. Don't overlook Rubber Nurse! Ben Harris
